Kandungan pada daun kelor mampu mendukung proses pencernaan, absorpsi, metabolisme, dan produktivitas unggas. Pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan dengan konsentrasi yang tepat dapat mengefektifkan proses pencernaan dan absorpsi nutrien dengan memperbaiki struktur mikroanatomi duodenum puyuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan terhadap diameter lumen, tinggi vili, lebar vili, dan tebal muskular duodenum puyuh. Desain penelitian menggunakan RAL dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan konsentrasi pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan meliputi 0, 2,5; 5; 7,5, dan 10%. Preparat histologi dibuat melalui metode parafin dengan pewarnaan Hematoksilin-Eosin (HE). Parameter yang diamati meliputi diameter lumen, tinggi vili, lebar vili, dan tebal lapisan muskular duodenum. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung daun kelor dalam pakan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P >0,05) terhadap diameter lumen, tinggi vili, dan lebar vili, namun berpengaruh nyata (P <0,05) terhadap tebal lapisan muskular pada duodenum puyuh. Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan tidak berpotensi mengubah mikroanatomi duodenum puyuh sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai aditif pakan. Namun, pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan berpotensi dalam meningkatkan ketebalan lapisan muskular duodenum puyuh.AbstractMoringa is a tropical plant rich in phytonutrients and bioactive compounds. The content in moringa leaves can support the process of digestion, absorption, metabolism, and productivity of poultry. Giving moringa leaf meal in feed with the right concentration can streamline the digestive process, and nutrient absorption by improving the microanatomical structure of the quail duodenum. This study aims to analyze the provision of moringa leaf flour in feed on the diameter of the lumen, villi height, villi width and muscular thickness of the quail duodenum. The research design used RAL with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment concentration of moringa leaf meal in feed included 0; 2.5; 5; 7.5, and 10%. Histology preparations were made through paraffin method with Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining. Parameters observed included lumen diameter, villi height, villi width, and duodenal muscular layer thickness. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's test using the SPSS program. The results showed that moringa leaf meal in feed had no significant effect (P >0.05) on lumen diameter, villus height and villus width, but had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the thickness of the muscular layer in the duodenum of quail. The conclusion of this study is that the provision of moringa leaf meal in feed does not have the potential to change the microanatomy of the quail duodenum so that it can be utilized as a feed additive. However, the provision of moringa leaf meal in feed has the potential to increase the thickness of the muscular layer of the quail duodenum.
