The best phase sequence arrangement is determined by comprehensively considering the comprehensive indexes (current imbalance, secondary current, and recovery voltage) of double transmission un-transposed lines with shared towers. PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation software is applied to build a typical 750kV transmission line model for simulation analysis, and the comprehensive indexes under different phase sequence arrangements are studied. The analysis reveals that the arrangement of phase sequence exerts a significant consequence of the comprehensive index.
