This review explores the relationship between disrupted circadian rhythms, AD and the critical involvement of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) and adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) signaling pathways. These pathways hold promise for new drug development and provide insights into the complex pathogenesis of AD.
