The in vitroantihyperglycemic and antioxidant activities of the fraction were evaluated.The results of the present study indicated that the leaves’extract contained phytochemicals,like phenols, flavonoids, alkaloids and glycosides.Phenolic compounds,such as garlic acid, catechin, ferrulic acid, p-coumaric acid, apigen-7-glucose, kaemferol, quercetin and amentoflavone,were quantified by HPLC.
