Analysis of professional secrecy in Ibero-America: Ethical and legal perspectives
Eight Ibero-American political constitutions that include professional secrecy (confidentiality) as a constitutional guarantee are analysed, and their influence as a fundamental right in the professional practice of librarians is examined.
