By adding nanomaterials of size 0.1 nm to 100 nm having greater surface area improves the microstructure by reducing the voids and making the matrix denser. Nanomaterials improve the mechanical and durability properties of concrete. Nano materials expected to play an important role in future in the modern concrete infrastructure. This paper will give a brief review about the influence of nanoparticles on the properties of concrete.
