It can recognize the status of an isolator through analyzing the features. The homography matrix can be obtained by using the SIFT feature between the template image and new acquired image. Then it gets the range of isolator, finally recognizing the status of isolator by image processing. The experiment results prove that the method could recognize the isolator status effectively.
