The way of human life underwent a complete change at the time of the emergence of Covid-19 pandemic. Many factors in human life require a lot of readjustment to adapt to the changes that arise. The economic sector in Indonesia has been severely affected so that small businesses or shops have to struggle to work still in order to fulfill their daily lives. Health protocols applied to commercial shops or retail spaces can reduce the spread of the virus, thereby increasing the confidence of visitors to enter and buy goods or services. Rich Palace Hotel has a need for re-adjustment with the Covid-19 protocol, where the design style must also be more up-to-date and also the use of more sustainable materials in the room. The analytical method used applies Participatory Learning and Design Thinking Process (Understand, Observe, Point of View, Ideate, Prototype, Test) which are used to identify problems and provide design solutions in the design. The interior design design for the Rich Palace Hotel also implements the application of the New Normal concept which is adapted to accommodate user needs and comfort.
