摘要

标准从一开始就被用于构建词典。以前的词典是手工设计和维护的。但信息通信技术的进步使我们有机会通过机器可读的环境来执行同样的任务。为了电子化地合并同义词典数据库,同义词典标准也随着时间发生了相应的变化。为了有效地利用分类方案、主题分类法和同义词表等知识组织系统,数据模型的概念应运而生。新的标准能够指导数字环境下同义词库的设计和维护,并通过使用SKOS作为领域模型和XML作为通用语言,使它们在不同平台之间实现互操作。与skos兼容的同义词库标准还支持基于Unicode的数据处理环境中的多语言。ISO-25964标准分为两部分,用于构建和维护SKOS投诉多语言同义词库。
