Radical mitigation of photo-darkening effect in Yb-doped fiber through deuterium treatment
We report radical mitigation of photo-darkening effect in Yb-doped fibers with deuterium. After deuterium loading, the fiber did not exhibit any PD effect. Existed color centers induced by PD could also be eliminated by deuterium.
