Fujii et al.4) obtained a basic protein fraction with toxohormone activities from Rhodamine sarcoma. They subjected it to carboxymethylcellulose column chromatography and separated a plasma iron-depressing factor from factors depressing liver catalase and tryptophan pyrrolase.
