The aim of this thesis was to know the types of error, to find out the dominant error, and to find out the sources of error. The research was a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this research were the thirty students of junior high school at eight grade. In collecting data, this research used a writing task about their unforgettable experiences which aimed to identify the errors produced by students in using the simple past in writing recount texts based on the linguistics category taxonomy and sources of error based on Ellis’ theory. The results implied that there were 13 types of errors made by students. The most dominant types of errors were miss-election of V-1 in the past event with the total number of error 56 items. 摘要

为了强调语法使用的准确性,本研究对学生在英语写作中的错误进行了调查。从初步的研究来看,学生们似乎在使用一般过去时进行句子方面存在困难。因此,本研究更多地探讨了叙事性篇章写作中使用一般过去时的错误。本文的目的是了解误差的类型,找出主要的误差,找出误差的来源。本研究为定性描述性研究。本研究以30名初八年级学生为研究对象。在收集数据的过程中,本研究使用了一项关于他们难忘经历的写作任务,旨在根据语言学类别分类法和基于Ellis理论的错误来源,找出学生在撰写叙述文本时使用一般过去时所产生的错误。结果表明,学生犯的错误有13种。在过去事件中,最主要的错误类型是V-1的误选,错误总数为56项。根据错误类型的结果发现错误来源有干扰性错误96项,语内错误68项,发展性错误83项。
