This research uses a qualitative method by reviewing relevant literature, conducting observation, and interviewing informants in various higher education institutions on Java Island. Data were taken from Islamic Religious Education (IRE) or Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) course, interview with students and lecturers, and the course’s accompanying programs administered by public and private universities in Java. The results of the study show that Islamic religiosity and appreciation of local cultures within the frame of Indonesia as a nation can go hand in hand. 本研究探讨宗教(伊斯兰教)如何被理解、承认和实践,以与当地文化和国家概念积极互动,作为印度尼西亚人民的团结因素。本研究采用质性研究方法,通过查阅相关文献、进行观察、访谈爪哇岛各高等院校的举报人。数据取自伊斯兰宗教教育(IRE)或Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI)课程,采访学生和讲师,以及爪哇公立和私立大学管理的课程配套项目。研究结果表明,在印度尼西亚作为一个国家的框架内,伊斯兰教的宗教信仰和对当地文化的欣赏可以齐头并进。这种心态是通过印尼大学的宗教教育课程及其课外或课外项目来实现的,这与通过宗教建设国家和维护印尼多元化社会和谐的议程是一致的。
