Abstract

Based on System Dynamics methodology, this paper analyzes the characters of eco-city and structure of the system comprehensively and constructs a system dynamics model of eco-city. The model simulates the flow and circulation of material, energy and information in Eco-city system which is composed of population, economy, resource and environment subsystems. Using system dynamics software Vensim PLE, results show that scenario 5 & 6 of the six are the optimal scenarios of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, whose economic progress stably; whose ecological system is virtuous circle; whose industrial structure is optimized.
