Las Competencias Transversales en Ingeniería. El Seminario Taller Como Herramienta Metodológica

Abstract

Since 2010, the Educational Research Group on Engineering, of the Resistencia Regional Faculty of the National Technological University, has been researching the development of skills in students studying engineering. The Group is currently working on the project “Why talk about transversal skills in the training of chemical engineers?”. The training in the pedagogical research processes of the work team constituted a significant theoretical-methodological challenge.The work that is presented focuses, on the one hand, on the analysis of the curricular documents that regulate the institutional training activity, the Study Regulations of the Chemical Engineering career and the plans that are elaborated by the teachers of the chairs: Integrative I, II, III, IV, and V of said race. On the other hand, it is about putting in value the seminar-workshop as a central curricular space in the training of teachers of an engineering career, promoting reflections of the processes put into play in the ways of conceiving and carrying out teaching and evaluation of transversal competences.
