National Council for Teacher Education, Delhi is playing the key role in strengthening the teacher education sector in India. As e-Governance helps in transparency improvement, improvement in efficiency of administration, to deliver public services up to the last person in the effective manner. NCTE is, stepping in a rapid manner by initiating several digital platforms, Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) are approaching the quality education by filling the online Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) which is a platform/initiative of NCTE for the performance evaluation of recognized TEIs. Also, NCTE has already invited applications for 4 year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) starting from the academic session 2020–21, through online mode. Also one platform Teacher Pupil Registration has been launched by the NCTE to facilitate the passed out/pursuing teacher pupils of any recognized TEIs situated across the country to assess the genuineness of their Teacher Education Programmes (TEPs), a completely online process starting from registration by the teacher pupils up to getting the certificate of approval.
