Although it may be seen at any age, its incidence increases with age. Most of the patients with essential tremor are misdiagnosed and loose the chance of proper treatment. The pathophsiology of essential tremor has not been completely understood yet. To achieve more satisfactory theraupatic results, early diagnosis and proper treatment options should be provided for the suffering patients.
