Abstract

Energy industry is traditionally considered as the one with the high requirements towards safety and reliability as integral components of the sustainable functioning of the entire country’s industrial complex. The article analyzes the risk assessment methods, the use of which is most appropriate in the framework of industrial safety management system to prevent and minimize damage from accidents at energy facilities. The proposed algorithm for assessing the risk of accidents at energy facilities, based on the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Event Tree Analysis (ETA) and Human Reliability Assessment (HRA) methods, will increase the level monitoring effectiveness of repair work organization of electrical equipment and its technical condition.
