For this, we seek to first understand the history of the occupation, its construction techniques and the building itself, and then the analysis of materials. This analysis was performed in the kitchen of the building, where samples were taken to determine the humidity percentage of the masonry, the probable trace, to perform particle size analysis and qualitative tests of soluble salts. The collected samples were analyzed in the laboratory of the Preservation and Restoration Technology Center NTPR, of the Federal University of Bahia UFBA. Abstract
This paper aims to partially analyze the conservation state of building no. 29 of Gregório de Matos Street, in Salvador. For this, we seek to first understand the history of the occupation, its construction techniques and the building itself, and then the analysis of materials.
