Abstract

The paper deals with accuracy of reconstruction of a spatial 3D model of an analyzed scene. The influence of inaccurate correspondence points' determination is analyzed. Two different experiments were executed. The first experiment considered impact of the inaccurate corresponding points' determination on the exterior camera calibration which subsequently affects 3D reconstruction. In the second experiment, accurate exterior calibration is assumed. Subsequently the impact of using inaccurate point correspondence in triangulation on the reconstruction of the spatial position of this point is investigated. Consequently, the article describes influence of the accurate correspondences at different steps of the reconstruction.
