Abstract

This article presents the initiatives and user-centered design activities undertaken by the Faculty of electrical engineering and Faculty of computer science within the largest Slovenian university, the University of Ljubljana to increase the interest in technical studies and especially in the newly introduced interdisciplinary university study program Multimedia. A special attention was devoted to lowering the gender imbalance in engineering.
