Abstract
The need for an intelligent controller which is universally compatible to both pole-mounted circuit breakers and switch disconnectors with different automatic controlling logics in fault isolation has been promoted in recent years. A novel design of universal intelligent pole-mounted switch controller is introduced in this paper. Hardware scheme of the design is presented in detail.
