The practical problem of the importance of the maintainability index is difficult to evaluate. In this study the evaluation index system of equipment maintainability is described and an incomplete judgment matrix is introduced into the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The significance of the index is compared and the weight of the index is calculated. A tracked fire truck is taken as an example, and the visual simulation and expert score methods are used to evaluate the index. Abstract
