Abstract
In this paper, a preconditioning technique based on the Schur complement method is presented to accelerate the convergence of fast near-linear complexity iterative Method of Moments (MoM) solution. The Schur complement method diagonalizes the near field blocks to a block-diagonal form which can be used as an effective preconditioner to expedite the iterative solver convergence.
