Abstract

This paper proposes a calorimetric measurement system that takes into account the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of Peltier devices. Calorimetry is a method to measure the power loss from the amount of heat released from a power conversion device. In this paper, the Peltier device is used as a calorimetric measurement system and the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of the Peltier device is focused. By using Funnel Control as the tracking compensator of the control system that takes into account the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity in the Peltier device, the measurement time of the power loss can be reduced by about 400 s compared with the previous method.
