Abstract

The explosion of new data: social media, commercial, industrial, health, school, etc. appeared in recent years, has led to the emergence and development of new technologies and techniques of data management. The old technologies of data storage and data processing are beginning to be overwhelmed by the large volume of data and their variety. Data Lake is one of the latest technologies that seem to be in the spotlight in the last period. In this article, we analyze some of the recent approaches and architectures using Data Lake, approaches that have tried to cover several shortcomings encountered with the advent of these new technologies.
