We apply several teaching methodologies, such as concept maps, video, lecture, research activity, exercise resolution and scientific dissemination, in an attempt to know the relevance of nutrients and their functions in the human body, from their insertion in multiple contexts of the research. Food and Nutrition Education. The use of various teaching practices allowed students to insert in propositions to change their mistaken opinions about food, since they knew public policies to promote healthy eating, acquired/altered scientific perceptions of nutrients and disseminated their knowledge to the community.
