The proposed antenna is composed of a split ring resonator and a meandering-arm dipole, which are printed on the top and bottom of the printed circuit board, respectively. The excitation port is placed across a cut opened in the external ring of the split ring resonator, and the dipole is fed by proximity coupling. Abstract
In this paper, an electrically small magneto-electric dipole for ultrahigh frequency radio frequency identification tags is proposed.
