Rural Complex: New Motive for Targeted Poverty Alleviation in the Poor Ethnic Mountain Areas

Abstract

The Rural Complex is a new rural development mode which integrates circular agriculture, creative agriculture and farming experience. It provides new opportunities and motives for targeted poverty alleviation in poor ethnic mountain areas, and is also a new economic growth point for poverty alleviation in poor areas. Taking Yongshun County as an example, this paper analyses the great significances of the rural complex to the impoverished mountainous areas from the aspects of economy, politics, culture and ecology, and puts forward five concepts of the construction of the rural complex: protecting the interests of farmers, industrial integration, innovation, ecology-based and coordinated development, and choosing the construction mode and profit-making mode. Some suggestions on the development of rural complex in Yongshun County were put forward in terms of functional areas division and development principles.
