Reform and Practice of Ideological and Political Teaching in Basic Courses of Energy and Power Majors:Taking Engineering Fluid Mechanics as an Example

Abstract

In order to achieve the fundamental task of moral education, the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities clearly pointed out that ideological and political work such as the cultivation and practice of social core values should be integrated into the whole process of teaching and education, so as to achieve all staff, whole process and all-round education. As teachers of professional basic courses in higher education schools, it is particularly important to explore new ideological and political models for professional basic courses. Professional courses are the highlight of student training, and an important position for ideological and political courses. It is a key of college education to reasonably excavate ideological and political elements in professional courses and organically integrate them into each link of professional course teaching, guide students to set up correct ideas and promote the all-round development of students' morality and intelligence. In this context, this paper fully investigates the current situation of ideological and political development and practice in different courses in China, and summarizes the existing problems and future practical directions of ideological and political construction in colleges and universities. Taking the "Engineering Fluid Mechanics" course of the School of Energy Science and Engineering in Harbin Institute of Technology as an example, the course ideological and political teaching reform and practical exploration were carried out, and the ideological and political education resources related to "Engineering Fluid Mechanics" were deeply explored, and a specific implementation plan was formulated. Give full play to the function of professional courses to build morality and cultivate people, teaching effect test and summary were made, which show good results. The above teaching research can provide experience and guidance for the ideological and political reform and practice of professional basic courses for energy and power majors.
