With the help of the given model, the standards GOST 28249-93 and IEC 60909 were compared in order to assess their qualities in terms of solving the problem, the difference as a result of the calculation. Abstract

This paper discusses the issue of accounting for the effect of asynchronous motors on the short-circuit current if the rated current of the asynchronous motors more than 1.0% of the initial value of the periodic component of the short-circuit current in auxiliary systems of power plants and substations.
