The proposition was made, first, due to identified absence in the didactic sequence teaching strategy – by Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004) -, of a methodological guideline on how to circumscribe the evaluation criterias for the recommended formative evaluation. Second, because a didactic instrument, which proposes to reach a certain linguistic perspective, must have parameters to evaluate not only the students, but also the educational instrument itself. Therefore, intending the development of a larger study, the criterias were circumscribed considering the textual and enunciative characteristics of the opinion article genre. Abstract
