The thyristor-Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC), Static Var Compensator (SVC), and Unified Power Flow (UPFC) devices have been used as FACTS devices. A comparative study was performed with other heuristic optimization algorithms, such as Grey Wolf optimizer (GWO) and Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithms, to verify the suggested algorithm’s effectiveness. Computer simulation has been applied to the IEEE 30 bus system. Abstract

FACTS controllers can boost the effectiveness of power systems by continuously controlling the power system parameters.
