Data were analyzed using an interactive model with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of AfL in writing skill learning in elementary was completed by the teacher to control completely of students' writing development. Students were assisted to write together until they finished. The results of some of the students' writings were written in a portfolio and at the end of the portfolio programs were exhibited and assessed.
