Abstract

The study focused on determining the level of participation of the faculty in the accreditation process of the Industrial Engineering career at Universidad Privada del Norte, pointing out 4 dimensions that emerge from the accreditation criteria: the alignment between the curriculum and the competencies of the career, the alignment between the educational objectives and the curriculum, the acceptance of the student outcomes and the achievement of the student outcomes. A questionnaire was applied to 42 professors involved in the accreditation process, under the quantitative approach and the descriptive scope. The results indicate that the level of participation of the faculty in the accreditation processes was high at 38% and very high at 55%.
