Abstract
There are serious concerns among the public and utility companies over the possible health effects of electric and magnetic fields. Electric and magnetic fields produced by electric power systems have been added to the list of environmental factors that are a potential threat to humans. This paper is an overview of various issues related to the exposure to low frequency electric and magnetic fields presented in the literature.
