To develop an assistive acupoint locating device, we use a camera to catch the photo of the hand back and then find the characteristic points of the hand back by using OpenPose recognition in the OpenCV developing environment. The positions of acupoints are calculated from combining the found hand back characteristic points and the rules of traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, the error of the acupoint location is researched with high accuracy. In addition, according to the traditional Chinese medicine, the acupoints of the hand back are associated at the corresponding diseases. The hand massage aid APP is developed based on the hand acupoint locating system from user’s corresponding the diseases. This aid APP can give the message guidance for releasing the effect of diseases, which points out the required massage position and massage skill. Abstract
