At the same time, the boundaries of vast subject areas are unclear, and their use in different law areas may cause, as a result, the application of different criteria to establish the essence of the term. Abstract

The purpose of the research is a comprehensive analysis of approaches to the legal terminological use in the modern world, highlighting legal terminological peculiarities. The article uses general scientific and special-scientific research methods, in particular, dialectical, formal-logical, analysis and synthesis, formal- legal, and other methods of scientific knowledge.
