The type of research used is quantitative research using the pre-experimental type experimental method using the OneGroup Pretest-Posttest Design model. The population and sample in this study were all 18 grade VI students at SDN 2 Baumata Timur. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation (observation) and tests (pretest and posttest). The results of the analysis were carried out for testing the hypothesis using the Paired Sample T-Test technique or t-test with the help of SPSS 22 for Windows. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, it shows that the significance probability value (2-tailed) is 0,00<0,05. Therefore it can be concluded that Hₒ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted, which means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely that there is a significant influence from the discovery learning model on learning outcomes in science theme 5 about magnets in class VI SDN 2 Baumata Timur.
