Abstract

To efficiently implement Energy Efficiency Labeling and Standard, the government is expanding and developing high-efficiency devices through periodic raising of the rating index. In this study, the rating share was checked and six items that needed to be adjusted, such as TV, were selected. In addition, for the six items, the raised minimum annual average rating index was derived and the raised maximum rating was proposed by applying it. Further, the rating share and predicted energy savings amount were calculated, and the possibility of conversion to the minimum energy performance standard (MEPS) was suggested.
