Conceptualization Cognitive Processes and Conceptualization Aspects of ‘N1+讓+N2+V1+(N3)’ Construction

Abstract

This paper looked at the conceptualization and cognitive process of ‘N1+讓+N2+V1+(N3)’ construction and the conceptualization aspect of the semantic element of N1. First, the conceptual blending cognitive process of the ‘Causative Constructions’ and the conceptualization aspects of ‘Prepositional causer’ and ‘Individuality causer’ which are the semantic elements of N1 were explained. Second, the conceptual blending cognitive process of ‘performative utterance’ construction and the conceptualization aspect of the semantic element of N1 were examined.
