Abstract

Printing inks of various brands are available in the field. Available colors include Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Ink is an important parameter in determining print quality. Optical density is one of the important parameters used to control print quality. The optical density of the printed material is a form of ink–paper interaction. This research is oriented toward investigating the optical density value of Cyan printing ink on coated and non-coated paper.
