Abstract

The article presents a program for a course of extracurricular activities, the purpose of which is to develop the verbal creativity of younger schoolchildren. The content part of the “Verbal Creativity” program provides not only analytical work with texts of different genres, but also “immersion” of the child into a state of creative research and writing. The program offers methodological recommendations for the teacher, which make it possible to provide conditions for students to understand the creative act as a stage in the creation of a text, subject to their own ideas.
