Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the possibilities of developing and using video tutorials in the process of organizing independent work of generation Z students in a non–linguistic university in the discipline "Foreign language". The article clarifies the concept of "independent work of a student" within the framework of his foreign language training at a university, defines the features of its organization in the digital educational space. The novelty of the article lies in clarifying the methodological and technical features of creating educational video materials, on the basis of which a series of video tutorials has been developed and tested in the process of organizing independent work of students in the discipline "Foreign language".
