Abstract
Inverted perovskite solar cells (iPSCs) have attracted much attention due to their low hysteresis, low temperature fabrication procedure, and great potential for application in large area and flexible devices. As a star hole transport material, nickel oxide (NiOX) have developed by leaps and bounds, and devices' efficiency has repeatedly amazed the world. In this paper, we focus on systematically elucidating the preparation process and defect mechanism of NiOX, propose a series of general defect equations for different valence doping elements for the first time, and summarize the doping methods. As for surface modification, we take SAM material as a representative to explain how to make the NiOX/SAM structure have better performance. More than that, we discuss the challenges faced in the commercialization of NiOX-based devices and put forward feasible solutions, proposing prospects for the further development of NiOX-based devices.
期刊介绍:
Coordination Chemistry Reviews offers rapid publication of review articles on current and significant topics in coordination chemistry, encompassing organometallic, supramolecular, theoretical, and bioinorganic chemistry. It also covers catalysis, materials chemistry, and metal-organic frameworks from a coordination chemistry perspective. Reviews summarize recent developments or discuss specific techniques, welcoming contributions from both established and emerging researchers.
The journal releases special issues on timely subjects, including those featuring contributions from specific regions or conferences. Occasional full-length book articles are also featured. Additionally, special volumes cover annual reviews of main group chemistry, transition metal group chemistry, and organometallic chemistry. These comprehensive reviews are vital resources for those engaged in coordination chemistry, further establishing Coordination Chemistry Reviews as a hub for insightful surveys in inorganic and physical inorganic chemistry.
