Genetic toxicology studies were conducted in Salmonella typhimurium and mouse peripheral blood erythrocytes. Tetrabromobisphenol A-bis(2,3-dibromopropyl ether) is used as a flame retardant in electronics, building and construction materials, and automotive materials.
