Materials and Methods: The methodology of the architecture of sovereign Kazakhstan is based on the combination of historical and religious studies, comparative-typological, iconographic analysis, reflecting a systematic, interdisciplinary approach to the study of architecture, the comparison of historical and literary sources, composite graphic analysis of the layout and spatial organization of the objects in question, based on their source study and field survey. Results and Discussion: As applied to the formation and development of the capital of Kazakhstan - Nur-Sultan - this phenomenon shows its transformation, due to the search for architects who embody their ideas at various levels of this phenomenon.
