This paper overviews the experience, with examples of times when learning took place as well as what students took out of the trip. The overall trip is summarized, and then cultural and practical experience, tourism, and sustainability are discussed. Abstract
: In 2021, a 28-day experiential learning program offered 27 university students an opportunity to sail on a Navy ship and learn about tourism, sustainability, and culture.
