Dr. Rick Shearer has over 35 years of experience in distance education and has served in higher education leadership and learning design roles. Both are Mildred B. and Charles A. Wedemeyer Award recipients and recently coauthored the book Transactional Distance and Adaptive Learning: Planning for the Future of Higher Education.
