Modelo de agente racional para auxiliar na gestão de serviços em redes de computadores

Abstract

Globalization has greatly increased the volume of data to be processed, resulting in the need of connecting computers in networks. Administration of computer networks is not a trivial task. However, intelligent agents can assist this type of management. The objective of this work is to develop a prototype based on a software agent that monitors, manages services on computer networks, and intervenes reactively, restarting any service problems. The agent analyzes its knowledge base periodically to verify services that were restarted and the possible causes for this. The agent was effective, keeping the services running and generating reports.
